The Alliance for the Arts has announced the winners of its 35th Annual All Florida exhibit which was on display March 6 – 28 at 10091 McGregor Blvd. in Fort Myers.

Best in Show ($1,000) was awarded to Stephen Hayford for “If 2020 Were A Western,” diorama/photography.
Second place ($250 Golden Paint gift certificate) went to Pat Zalisko for “Hope Rises,” collage with hand painted paper, acrylic and ink.
Third place ($100) was won by Diane Baires for “Nico the Greek,” oil on canvas.
Juror’s Choice (Alliance for the Arts membership) was Rose Young for “Florida Bleached Coral,” fiber.
This exhibition featured pieces created by artists working in a wide variety of media from all over the state of Florida. From more than 800 entries, 62 pieces were selected by the juror. This year’s juror was Shawn Pettersen, who received his Master of Fine Arts Degree from Montclair State University in 2005, and his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ringling College in 2003. He teaches sculpture and is the studio coordinator at Florida Gulf Coast University.
