Join fellow music lovers for another of the popular outdoor bluegrass concerts on Sunday, March 5 at 10091 McGregor Blvd. in Fort Myers.
The concert will be held on the Green Market Stage.
Gates open at 2 p.m. with HWY 41 South playing from 3 to 5 p.m. Chairs and coolers are permitted.
HWY 41 South band members include Mark Horn, Donnie Harvey, David Beaumont, Clint Dockery and Tammy White.
Mark Horn has played with several regional bluegrass bands and won the 2010 Florida Old Time Music Championship mandolin competition. Donnie Harvey began playing the banjo at age nine. He played with the late great Larry Rice as a teen and the lessons learned are obvious when you hear him pick on stage with 41. Donnie also contributes his smooth baritone to the harmonies. David Beaumont has been a well known musician in bluegrass circles for many years. David plays guitar, bass, mandolin, and banjo. Clint Dockery plays fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and who knows what else he can do, as well as sing any part. He started playing when he was just a Little Bit, and is well known in bluegrass circles. Tammy White is the outstanding bass player, and is also Clint’s big sister. They have been playing bluegrass together since they were knee high to a grasshopper.
