Looking for an enjoyable way to help the Harry Chapin Food Bank? The Art League of Fort Myers is inviting everyone to the opening of its new exhibit Friday, Nov. 1.
Original artwork, treats and wine (donation appreciated) will be offered. Guests will also have the opportunity to bring in non-perishable food items that will be donated to the food bank for families in need. Alternatively, checks or cash will be happily accepted.
The exhibit will open during Art Walk from 6 to 10 p.m. The gallery is open every Wednesday from 9:30 am to noon for open paint. The public is welcome to join artists who share their creativity with each other in a stimulating, yet relaxed atmosphere. Regular gallery hours are Thursdays through Saturdays from 4 – 8 pm.
The Art League of Fort Myers is located at 1451 Monroe St. on the ground level under the Palms parking garage.
