Hot Works presents the 24th Estero Fine Art Show outdoors at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers Jan. 2 and 3.
COVID safety precautions in place will include such things as all booths 6 feet apart, social distancing, face coverings recommended, etc.
The focus is visual arts and features fine art and fine crafts created by award-winning artists with all discipline for sale – paintings, clay, glass, sculpture, fiber, wood, jewelry and more – all juried by art professionals.
All artwork is original and personally handmade by the artist who is present at the show. There is something for everyone, in all price ranges, says Patty Narozny, owner of HotWorks.org.
The associated 501c3 non-profit arm, Institute for the Arts & Education, focuses on visual arts, cultural diversity, community enrichment and fostering art education among youth. As part of our commitment to bring art education into the community, a Youth Art Competition is integrated within the art show. This unique and one-of-a-kind program encourages students for ages 5-13 or grades K-8 to enter his/her original art that is publicly displayed in the art show the entire weekend. On Sunday at 3 pm, there is $250 Youth Art Awards presented at the show as young artists are exposed to the rules and entrepreneurship of doing art shows for a living.
JetBlue Park offers plenty of convenient parking and easy to access location at exit 131 off I-75, Daniels Parkway. Event hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days. Great food from local restaurants and music add to the ambiance of this beautiful show. There is free admission; $5 parking supports IA&E. More info is available at www.artsandeducationinc.org.
Narozny adds, “See art, love art, buy art. See you there.”
