National Identity exhibit runs July 9 – July 29 at the Visual Arts Center, 26100 Old 41 Road, Bonita Springs.
The Fourth of July is all about celebrating freedom, family, good food and fireworks. In honor of this iconic national holiday, they asked artists to submit works that embody their own national identity.
Florida Girls and Boys and Their Toys exhibit runs now through July 28 at the Performing Arts Center, 10150 Bonita Beach Road, Bonita Springs. You’re never too old to appreciate toys! In fact, as we get older, it’s hard to erase the excitement we felt from owning a favorite toy.
This traveling exhibition from the Museum of Florida History features a historical collection of photographs of Florida children at play, plus a selection of memorable toys that help take you on a journey back through time to recapture the magical way that children have played with their favorite toys throughout history.
