April is “Spread the Love for PACE” month at ArtBeat Studios.
PACE Center for Girls’ vision is “a world where all girls and young women have power in a just and equitable society; that each one deserves an opportunity to find her voice, achieve her potential and celebrate life defined by responsibility, dignity, serenity and grace.”
An art contest for 5-15 year olds, each participant will have a wooden heart to paint, collage, glitter, etc., with an underlying message of PACE Center for Girls.
The young artists will be divided into age groups and winners will be chosen by a panel of ArtBeat Studios’ artists. Participants will have their hearts on display at ArtBeat Studios for one month and the hearts will then be auctioned, with all proceeds benefitting PACE Center for Girls. Lisa Fitz-Gerald
New artists at the Fort Myers gallery include Lisa Fitz-Gerald of She Shells Charters. Lisa’s florals made from shells are beautiful, permanent specimens, and never need watering. Lisa will teach two classes at the gallery in April.
Kate Swanstrom, a certified gemologist and accomplished painter, brings her passion and story-telling abilities to her work. Kate’s paintings reflect the joyous triumphs and the struggles of the journey we all are on.

Debi DeCampos is ArtBeat’s macrame wizard—her exquisite necklaces and wall-hangings show her artistic gift for home decor and fashion.
Bob Tabolt’s photography draws one into the natural scene, whether it is on the beach at sunset or in the watery marshes. Bob’s use of color and composition demonstrates his keen eye and respect for the world around him.
