ArtBeat Studios, located in Royal Palm Square in Fort Myers, welcomes three visiting artists in May.
Bill Jewell began drawing as a child, and as an adult, became intrigued with the unique color transitions and silhouettes at sunset and sunrise. Bill makes many of his own pigments from the numerous rocks and minerals he has collected over the past decades. The crystalline structure of the finely ground minerals is the intrinsic element in his process.

Faith Gaillot
The pen and ink drawings of Faith Gaillot will be on display at ArtBeat Studios through May. Artists often shy away from the painstaking detail of this medium, but Faith has won numerous awards and has taught this medium in Maryland and Virginia before moving to Florida. Faith has been featured in many local galleries and publications and ArtBeat Studios is proud to be among them.

Elyse Martin
Elyse Martin began reaching for a pen as soon as she could sit. The canvases of her toddlerhood consisted of herself, her room and her brother. Her art has since evolved to include drawing, painting, needle felting, jewelry crafting, calligraphy, photography and any other medium that intrigues her. Elyse is spending her sophomore year of high school designing posters, investigating digital art, excelling in her studies, looking forward to advanced art classes and feeding her creative spirit. ArtBeat Studios is honored to showcase Elyse’s talent.
The “Spread the Love for PACE” young artist contest is continuing through May with judging on June 1. Children ages 5-15 are eligible. Go to www.ArtBeatStudios.org or call 239-225-9770 for more details.
Come to ArtBeat Studios on Thursday, May 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. and meet the artists. The evening includes live music and light refreshments.
ArtBeat Studios Gallery and Gifts is located at 1400 Colonial Blvd., Suite 35, Fort Myers.
