Live music continues at Arts Bonita in April.
Arts Bonita welcomes The Blue Dogs on Friday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. South Carolina’s The Blue Dogs have defied musical norms, blending bluegrass, country, rock, and soul to create what’s now known as Americana. Led by Bobby Houck and Hank Futch, childhood friends turned musical visionaries, the band’s country-rock vibe resonates in original songs that capture the essence of their roots.

Billy Price

Blues Music Award (BMA) winner and perennial BMA nominee Billy Price makes his debut at Arts Bonita on Saturday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m. Bursting onto the national stage during his three-year collaboration with guitarist Roy Buchanan, Price’s distinctive vocals are featured on two of Buchanan’s acclaimed LPs, “That’s What I’m Here For” and “Live Stock.” Since then, whether fronting the Keystone Rhythm Band, the Billy Price Band, or in solo endeavors, Price has created an impressive catalog of 20 albums, CDs, and DVDs.

Victor Wainwright

Victor Wainwright and the Train will perform Saturday, April 13 at 7:30 p.m. Victor Wainwright and the Train have garnered widespread recognition for their exceptional musical prowess. The band has been honored with numerous awards, including the coveted Blues Music Award for the Pinetop Perkins Piano Player of the Year, which Wainwright has clinched three times. Their album “Victor Wainwright and the Train” received critical acclaim and earned the 2019 Blues Blast Music Award for Blues Band of the Year.
The Zach Bartholomew Trio presents Giants of Jazz – Music form the Premier Pianists on Thursday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m.
