Arts for ACT Gallery to showcase the works of artist Diana Ripoll

Arts for ACT Gallery will feature abstract, acrylic mixed media artist Diana Lynn Ripoll in October. An opening reception is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. in conjunction with the monthly Fort Myers Art Walk.
Diana has always had a natural fascination for brilliant color and abstract ideas. She has had the good fortune of traveling the world and her mind has become a vast well of snapshots and experiences. Diana’s subconscious draws upon these snapshots to create her art.
Choosing the colors that attract her, Diana adds colors and makes them flow, mix and move.
Finding hidden images, she begins to consciously bring these images out. The true meaning of each piece is revealed when the piece is completed. Having no formal training, Diana relies on optimism, experimentation and intuition to create her works.
She is methodical but not a perfectionist. Diana is a perpetual art student, grateful for her art mentors.
“I consider it a great privilege to paint and be heard above this noisy world without speaking,” says Ripoll.
This non-profit gallery is devoted to representing the distinctive and offers premium quality original works of art! The monies raised support Abuse Counseling and Treatment, Inc., the domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking center serving Lee, Hendry and Glades counties.
Come view these creative artworks and support ACT Gallery.
This exhibit continues through Monday, Nov. 1. Arts for ACT Gallery is located at 2265 First St. in downtown Fort Myers. For more info, call 239-337-5050.
