Arts for ACT Gallery welcomes B.A. Mintz

Arts for ACT Gallery will hold an opening reception on Friday, March 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. in conjunction with Fort Myers Art Walk. The featured artist in March is B.A. Mintz.
The beauty of nature and the sensuality of paint are the perfect combination. Living in Southwest Florida, as well as being able to travel, has added subject and inspiration for Mintz.
“Color and shapes in a stream of consciousness fashion have allowed me to produce paintings that hang in collections across the country and in a major department store. While I first started exploring painting with acrylics, I now, most often, paint in oil paint. My first formal instruction in wall art was with SW Florida’s own Gale Bennett. I still hear his voice in my head when I paint, and am an advocate for his method of teaching,” adds Mintz.
B. A. Mintz has a jewel-toned palette. She paints beautiful landscapes and surrealism scapes using a variety of tools including brushes.
This non-profit gallery is devoted to representing the distinctive and offers premium quality original works of art.
The monies raised support Abuse Counseling and Treatment, Inc., the domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking center serving Lee, Hendry and Glades counties.
This exhibit continues through Monday, March 28.
Arts for ACT Gallery is located at 2265 First St. in downtown Fort Myers. For more information, call 239-337-5050.
