Beaux Arts Chamber Ensemble Piano Trio Feb. 19

Gulf Coast symphony presents Sunday Night Chamber Music: Beaux Arts Chamber Ensemble Piano Trio Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Music & Arts Community Center in Fort Myers.
Members of the Beaux Arts Chamber Ensemble present a profound and exciting concert of piano trios. Anchored on the great piano trio in C minor by Mendelssohn, the program will also include works by the Spanish composer Joaquín Turina, as well as the “Gypsy” trio by Haydn. From the great pioneer of the piano trio, to the poetry of a Romantic giant, to the irresistible flavor of Spanish music, this evening is certain to inspire. Pianist Catherine Lan will be joined by violinist Huifang Chen and cellist Claudio Jaffe. These veteran artists will bring the music to life through their passion, dynamism, and virtuosity. Program includes Haydn Piano Trio No. 39, Turina Piano Trio No.2, Mendelssohn Piano Trio No. 2.
