Country star and judge Blake Shelton originally turned his chair and added Ben Allen to his team. After an elimination round, pop star and judge Gwen Stefani saved Ben and added him to her team. After some fierce competition, Ben Allen was part of the final nine semifinalists before being voted off.
Allen found his passion for singing during an open mic night at the age of 31. After trying out as a duo, Allen founded his band, The Ben Allen Band.
The Ben Allen Band is now one of the most popular bands in Southwest Florida and has opened for many national recording artists at The Ranch Concert Hall and Saloon in Fort Myers.
The Ben Allen Band includes Ben Allen (vocals and guitar), Jeff Scheeler (guitar), Jay Phoenix (drums), Joe Fernandez (guitar) and Bret Deising (bass and vocals).
The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center is located at 2301 First St. in downtown Fort Myers.
