The City of Fort Myers and Celtic Heritage Productions invite you to “don your tartan” and bring your family and friends out to enjoy the 17th Annual Caloosahatchee Celtic Festival in downtown Fort Myers.
The weekend festivities include:
Friday, Jan. 24 – First up is the Kick-Off Party at Centennial Park in downtown Fort Myers at 5 p.m. with performances by Rathkeltair, Albannach, The Screaming Orphans, West of Galway and Blue Skye Pipes & Drums. Admission is only $5.
Saturday, Jan. 25 – The gates at Centennial Park will open at 11 a.m. with many hours of non-stop Celtic music from Albannach, Rathkeltair, The Screaming Orphans, Marcille Wallis & Friends, House of Hamill and the Kellyn Celtic Arts Irish Dancers.
To satisfy the appetite, there is Celtic fare such as fish and chips and meat pies, along with traditional American festival food. Both domestic and imported beers will be served. Dozens of merchandise vendors will be offering everything Celtic.
Admission on Saturday is $12 for adults, and kids under 12 are free. Bring your blankets and/or lawn chairs and plan to join a great Fort Myers tradition. A two-day festival pass is only $15.
