It’s that time again – for the Cape’s liveliest international family festival packed with Irish and Celtic sights and sounds March 7 & 8. Wear something green and head for the German American Social Club.
The 16th annual Cape Coral Irish Festival entertainment includes great live Irish music. See the Screaming Orphans, Brendan Nolan, Jameson Celtic Rock, Albannach, The Byrne Brothers, West of Galway, Celtic Stew, Derek Warfield & the Young Wolftones, the Lee County Pipes & Drums and Kellyn School of Dance.
The festival takes place at the German American Social Club, 2101 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral. Parking is free and there’s lots of it. Sorry – no pets and no coolers.
The Cape Irish Festival is sponsored by the Cape Coral Irish American Club. Check the website for details at www.capecoralirishfestival.com.
Festival hours are 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Pets and coolers are not allowed.
Admission is $10 for adults, and those 12 and under are admitted free.
