We’re excited about everything happening in June. We continue to renovate behind the scenes, with fresh paint and furnishings for our dressing rooms and green room. Stay tuned to our Facebook and web pages for a complete tour of “front” and “back” of the house, once all our projects have been completed.
Our Broadway Series continues with Crimes of the Heart opening June 1 and running through June 11. Under the expert direction of Kristen Wilson, this dark comedy, written by Beth Hensley, relates the story of the three Magrath sisters, Meg, Babe, and Lenny, who reunite at Old Granddaddy’s home in Hazlehurst, Mississippi.
Past resentments bubble to the surface as the sisters are forced to deal with assorted relatives and past relationships. Each sister is forced to face the consequences of the “crimes of the heart” she has committed. Shows are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m., Sundays at 3 p.m. For more information, visit our website at Crimes of the Heart.
