The Oct. 28 show at Sunset Green Event Lawn features new music, songs from their solo projects and classic Allman Brothers and Gregg Allman tunes in honor of the 50th Anniversary of The Allman Brothers Band. Grace Potter will play Jan. 12 at the Sunset Green Event Lawn, and The Temptations will perform April 5 at the Sunset Green Event Lawn.
Award-winning country artist Lee Brice will play Nov. 7 at the Key West Amphitheater. Blackberry Smoke will perform at the amphitheatre Dec. 28.
Kool & The Gang with The Village People will perform Feb. 21 at The Key West Amphitheater. Kool & the Gang, officially launched in 1969 (after performing for five years under various band titles) has influenced the music of three generations and, after 50 years, the band has become true recording industry legends. Thanks to iconic songs like Celebration, Cherish, Jungle Boogie, Summer Madness and Open Sesame, they’ve earned two Grammy Awards, seven American Music Awards, 25 Top Ten R&B hits, nine Top Ten Pop hits, 31 gold and platinum albums.
Known for the smash hit “YMCA,” Village People is considered the greatest disco group in the world. The debut album, released in 1977, featured the hit singles “San Francisco (You Got Me)” and “In Hollywood (Everybody’s A Star).”
