On Oct. 13, Jazz industry giant and multiple Grammy Award winner Cecile McLorin Salvant performs a special evening of music. The Grammy Award winning artist Sullivan Fortner will be joining in on the piano.
The New York Times hails Salvant as, “The finest jazz singer to emerge in the last decade.” Born and raised in Miami, Florida, of a French mother and Haitian father, Salvant started classical piano studies at 5, sang in a children’s choir at 8, and started classical voice lessons as a teenager.
