Arts Bonita continues its variety of music in March.


3 Redneck Tenors
Arts Bonita welcomes the 3 Redneck Tenors on Saturday, March 9 at 7 p.m. The 3 Redneck Tenors are a new breed in the “tenor genre” – their musical comedy featuring classically trained veteran artists is like the Blue Collar Comedy Tour goes to Carnegie Hall – down home laughs with big city music! It has been said that if Larry the Cable Guy, Il Divo, and Mrs. Doubtfire had a baby, that child would be The 3 Redneck Tenors.

GO Divas
Gulfshore Opera’s popular women’s vocal ensemble, the GO Divas, return Thursday, March 14 at 7 p.m. for a fun and friendly concert at Arts Bonita. These five beautiful classically trained singers will perform a variety of repertoire with piano accompaniment.

Jazz saxophonist extraordinaire Jesse Jones Jr. will perform on Friday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. The Miami native is a saxophonist virtuoso and continues to be at the forefront of a burgeoning jazz renaissance in South Florida. Jesse has been ruling forces in the music industry for many years. Jesse Jones Jr., a jazz luminary renowned for his mastery of the saxophone and captivating vocals, has left an indelible mark on the genre over decades and remains a longtime fixture in Miami’s jazz scene.

The Weight Band
Arts Bonita presents The Weight Band on Saturday, March 16 at 7:30 p.m. The Weight Band originated in 2013 inside the famed Woodstock, N.Y., barn of Levon Helm when Jim Weider and Randy Ciarlante —both former members of The Band— performed “Songs of The Band” with Band founder Garth Hudson. Inspired to carry on the rock band’s legacy, Weider (guitar, mandolin, vocals) and Ciarlante began performing fan favorites from The Band catalog to audiences across the country, inviting Brian Mitchell (keyboards, organ, accordion, vocals) to complete their sound. The Weight Band later added Albert Rogers (bass, vocals), Matt Zeiner (keyboards, vocals), and Michael Bram (drums, vocals) to make up their current lineup with Weider and Mitchell.

SWFL Guitarfest
Rick Howard’s 2024 SWFL Guitarfest is scheduled for Thursday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m. Classical, blues, rock, jazz, folk and country…all represented in this six string extravaganza featuring some of our area’s most popular and accomplished guitarists!

Zach Bartholomew Trio
Zach Bartholomew Trio will present 88 Keys Meet the Great Ladies of Jazz on Thursday, March 28 at 7:30 p.m. Award-winning pianist Zachary Bartholomew and his trio are joined by world-class vocalist and flautist, Dr. Argarita Palavicini-Johnson, to present an exciting and interactive concert showcasing compositions and arrangements of songs from the great ladies of jazz.

Jeff Harnar sings Cole Porter on Saturday, March 30 at 7:30 p.m. Featured at Cole Porter’s Centennial Gala at Carnegie Hall, Harnar’s solo performance premiered at The Russian Tea Room and continued at The Algonquin Hotel’s Oak Room. Harnar, a Carnegie Hall veteran, has PBS televised concerts and has garnered multiple MAC, Bistro, and BroadwayWorld Cabaret Awards, The Noel Coward Foundation Cabaret Award, and released four solo CDs.
