Harbour View Gallery in Cape Coral will welcome featured artists Quinn Sedam (wildlife & storm photographer) and Matt Kearney (ceramics & pottery) at a reception on Tuesday, March 3 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Matt Kearney was born and raised in Sarasota. He studied one-on-one under Korean master potter Ki Woon Huh, at his private studio for many years. Ki Woon Huh is an unparalleled ceramic artist who opened Matt’s eyes to the world of possibilities and creativity that could be applied to three-dimensional art and ceramics in particular.
Matt Kearney’s work has been awarded by a past sitting Florida governor and displayed in the Florida capitol building. His work has also been recognized with awards by the National League of American Pen Women, the Fine Arts Society of Sarasota, Sarasota’s Education Foundation, and at various juried art exhibitions. He graduated from Stetson University with a major in marketing and a minor in fine art.
When not in the studio, Matt enjoys racing standup paddleboards and outrigger canoes on the local waters and around the country. Much of his inspiration comes from time spent on the water and in nature.

Quinn Sedam is a local, award-winning fine art photographer who is widely known for his storm chasing work, but he has another passion as well, wildlife photography.
After seven years of learning everything he can about our local wildlife, he is finally ready for his first wildlife exhibit.
As always, Quinn applies his self-taught style of photography and strives to find beautiful and unique moments to capture. He finds peace and tranquility as he hikes and explores nature with his camera over his shoulder. “We are very fortunate here in Florida to be able to experience beautiful wildlife in the isolated, rural areas or right in our very own back yards,” says Quinn.
Their work will be on display through March. The gallery is located at 5789 Cape Harbour Drive, suite 104, in the Shops at Cape Harbour in Cape Coral.
