Island Hopper Songwriter Fest is a 10-day music festival in Southwest Florida featuring performances by the greatest singer-songwriters from Nashville and nationwide.
The festival is broken up into three locations with the first weekend kicking off on Captiva Island (Sept. 16 – 18), then moving to downtown Fort Myers during the week (Sept. 19 – 22), and ends with a weekend on Fort Myers Beach (Sept. 23 – 25).
Most shows are free with the exception of a few ticketed experiences like the headliner shows. Stay up-to-date on festival news by downloading the festival app or following on social media.
So far, more than 60 songwriters have been scheduled for the festival with performances at 17 different venues. Some of the artists scheduled include Aaron Barker, Brooke Eden, Carter Smith, Danny Myrick, Eli Mosley, Dylan Altman, Frank Myers, Jerry Lemon, Jessica Rose, Kat Higgins, Josh Martin, Katie Lyon, Kristian Bush, Lala Deaton, Lance Carpenter, Megan Linville, Nelson Cade, Paul McDonald, Peter Kolter, Shane Stevens, Tim James, Troy Cartwright, Wynn Varble and more.
Captiva Island venues are Tween Waters Island Resort, Doc Ford’s, Key Lime Bistro, Mucky Duck, RC Otter’s, South Seas Island Resort and The Green Flash.
Downtown Fort Myers venues (so far) will be Social House, The Barrel Room, Luminary Hotel and Twisted Vine Bistro.
Venues on Fort Myers Beach include Cabanas Beach Bar and Grille, Matanzas on the Bay, Nervous Nellies, Pierside Grill and Famous Blowfish Bar, Pinchers Tiki Bar, Pink Shell Beach Resort and Marina and Yucatan Beach Stand Bar and Grill.
