Joey & Maria’s Comedy Wedding now playing at Elks in Bonita & Naples

The cast of Joey & Marias Comedy Wedding are running back and forth between Naples and Bonita in 2022 with productions in both cities.
You can see the show at The Bonita-Estero Elks Club in Bonita (open to the public) in February and March. Performance dates at that location include Feb. 2 and 19, March 5, 8, 16, 17 and 18.
In Naples, Joey & Maria’s Comedy Wedding is currently being performed at The Naples Elks Lodge at 11250 Tamiami Trail East, unit 1A). Upcoming show dates there are Feb. 6 and 27 and March 13 and 20.
Joey and Maria’s Comedy Italian Wedding is an interactive dinner show that began in 1992.
This show is written by Darlyne Franklin who is formerly Darlyne Dorato a native East Bostonian and now a resident of Bonita Springs.
The show was derived from her observing how people enjoyed (in the early ‘90s) the trending murder mysteries and karaoke. People wanted to be part of the show. Merging her comedy and TV writing experience she decided to write a comedy wedding. An event where the audience is part of the show, they’re the invited guests, they dance, drink, eat, mingle with each other and the bridal party.
Joey & Maria’s Comedy Wedding has also gained a lot of recognition as a “Fund Raiser” helping raise millions of dollars nationwide for non-profit organizations. It’s also a hit among clubs.
Country clubs, golf clubs, restaurants, if you have the room you can have the show come to you.
