A Girl’s Guide to Chaos will be staged May 27 through June 5 at the Performing Arts Center in Bonita Springs.
Before Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda cut a wide swath through the men of New York on HBO’s acclaimed Sex and the City—Cynthia, Rita & Cleo were doing the same in the ’80s hit play A Girl’s Guide to Chaos by humorist Cynthia Heimel. Her books include Get Your Tongue Out of My Mouth, I’m Kissing You Goodbye and When Your Phone Doesn’t Ring, It’ll Be Me. If you are a fan of Fran Lebowitz, Bridget Jones’ Diary or Sex and the City, you don’t want to miss this sassy comic venture into the romantic escapades of the urban female.
Directed by Toni Palumbo, the play features Kelsey Butler, Louise K. Cornetta, Jacob Estes, Melissa Hennig and Lisa Jordan.
Performances are May 27 and 28, June 3 and 4 at 7 p.m. and May 28 and 29, June 4 and 5 at 2 p.m. The Performing Arts Center, Moe Auditorium & Film Center, is located at 10150 Bonita Beach Road, Bonita Springs.
