The Fort Myers Mural Society and the Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency partnered with local artists Erik Schlake and J.P. Almonacid to celebrate and capture the essence of McCollum Hall, a cultural center of the community in the 1940s and ’50s.
McCollum Hall is located at the intersection of Cranford Avenue and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard. The murals adorn a wall separating the hall from the Dunbar neighborhood.
