Mercato has announced that its Hand & Harvest Artisans Market is moving indoors just in time to beat the summer heat. As of May 22, a growing list of more than 20 local makers, artisans and small businesses are now housed inside a 9,000-square-foot storefront across from Tommy Bahama and Z Gallerie.
The market will be open to the public every second and fourth Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
“We have been hosting the Hand & Harvest Market each month since October, and it has become a very popular attraction at Mercato,” says Valerie Cope, senior marketing director for the shopping center. “As the rainy season moves in and the weather heats up here in Florida, we know our guests will appreciate the opportunity to continue shopping at the market in air-conditioned comfort, so we are moving Hand & Harvest indoors to a luxe new space that offers A/C as well as a number of other customer-friendly amenities.”
In addition to a wide array of home goods, plants, fashion, art, beauty, vintage, gourmet foods and one-of-a-kind handmade products and gifts, the new indoor location will offer live music by Claire Liparulo of The Freecoasters, bistro seating and public restrooms as well as beautifully cool air conditioning for added comfort.
Local artisans interested in becoming a Hand & Harvest vendor should contact Valerie Cope at Valerie.Cope@madisonmarquette.com for details; to be considered, artisans should include a link to their website, Facebook, Instagram or Etsy pages.
Hand & Harvest is not an average farmer’s market. It is a curated open-air collection of handmade creations by local artisans with a focus on functional art, crystals, metaphysical, luxury candles, jewelry, body care, botanicals, home goods, fine art, baked goods, raw local honey and more.
Conveniently located off U.S. 41 at Vanderbilt Beach Road in the heart of Naples, Mercato is managed and leased by Madison Marquette. To learn more, visit www.MercatoShops.com
