The Naples Concert Band, a Naples institution and nonprofit organization that is dedicated to entertaining the community with free live musical performances, has announced its revised 2020-2021 Concert in the Park season schedule. The band had originally planned to start the season Dec. 6 but canceled that performance as well as the Jan. 17 performance.

Here is the revised schedule:
Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021
Sunday, March 7, 2021
Saturday, March 27, 2021
Sunday, April 18, 2021
For 49 years, the Naples Concert Band has entertained Southwest Florida residents with memorable Sunday Concerts in the Park. This new season will be unusual due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, but each concert will still offer an exciting mix of new music and memorable old favorites plus feature soloists and inventive programming that appeals to a wide musical palate.
Admission to all Naples Concert Band performances is free, with donations appreciated. Donations received at each concert help defray expenses and help with the Band’s Scholarship fund, which has provided over $122,650 in scholarships to student band members since its inception in 1983.
Conducted by Harris Lanzel, NCB’s 49th season performances will be held at Cambier Park located at 755 Eighth Ave. S in Naples, and will be presented by a smaller 40 piece socially distanced band. Attendees will find socially distanced circles painted on the ground, and every effort will be made to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

“We are looking forward to taking the stage and entertaining both new and longtime fans,” said Harris Lanzel, NCB music director and conductor.
