The Naples Invitational serves as a tribute to the rich artistic community thriving within the coastal city of Naples. Comprised of a discerning selection of artworks in terms of their merit, relevance in our time, and their position as emblems of artistic creativity, this exhibition offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore and appreciate the vibrant creative landscape surrounding them.

Curated by executive director and chief curator Frank Verpoorten, the Naples Invitational features an intergenerational and interdisciplinary group of approximately 40 artists, whose dynamic works reflect the complexities and opportunities of the American experience today.

“Comprising more than 50 artworks, this exhibition is a testament to the enduring prominence of Naples Art Institute as a beacon for the promotion of the art of our time, and, by extension, to the important role we play in the development of the nascent visual art scene in Southwest Florida,” said Verpoorten. “The Naples Invitational honors contemporary artists in Naples that are making some of today’s most important and timely work, and seeks to elevate their status as purveyors of truth, meaning, and beauty.”

Complimentary admission to the Naples Invitational is granted to members of the Naples Art Institute, residents of Collier County (with proof of residence), students, and children under 18 years old. For all other attendees, the cost of tickets will be $10.
