Starting Tuesday, Sept 7, Janeen Vanko, the owner and creator of Neenie’s House, has put together an acoustic only jam night.
The East Palm Locals will begin The JellyJam on Tuesday night, Sept 7 from 7 to 10 p.m.
The JellyJam will be every Tuesday night in the outdoor Peace Plaza. In Janeen’s continued effort to make her neighborhood the New Bohemia for all the arts, this will be a welcome event for those musicians and singers that enjoy performing to an audience.
The house band will welcome all forms of music, and instruments – bluegrass, country, opera, whatever. “The acoustics in Peace Plaza are wonderful, and the moon comes up right over the dance floor,” says Vanko.
Food and refreshments are available by all the East Palm Locals. It’s a free event with free parking. So start hanging out at the JellyJam Tuesday nights. Neenie’s House is an arts & cultural Emporium, the home of Love Your Rebellion’s Zine Library. Every month there are art shows, fashion and food, music and cool shopping at the Sunday afternoon East Palm Locals Bazaar.
“Jump out of the box, head east, and come to Neenie’s. We’re what’s going on in East Palm,” she adds.
Neenie’s House is located at 481 Marsh Ave. in Fort Myers (just off Palm Beach Boulevard).
