Joe Collier, president of Mainsail Lodging and Development, was emcee at the ceremony.

A grand opening celebration was held May 25 for the new Caloosa Sound Amphitheater.
Situated in Centennial Park, the city-owned Caloosa Sound Amphitheater is located between Edwards Drive and the Caloosahatchee River.
City and county officials and Luminary Hotel representatives were on hand for the festivities.
The amphitheater lawn is designed so the audience will be at five different levels for better sight lines of the stage.
Programming of the new amphitheater is being handled by Caloosa Sound Convention Center (Mainsail Lodging and Development – owners of the Luminary Hotel & Co.)
