Let’s welcome the newest outdoor venue in Fort Myers.
Neenie’s House has morphed the backyard Peace Plaza into a serious concert venue. Going to Neenie’s is still like hanging out in someone’s cool back yard, but the new awesome stage, and updated patio, make this spot the place to be on the weekends.
Every Friday and Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. will be live music – country, country rock, bluegrass and who knows what else mixed in. Locally, there is not a lot of places playing these genres. Neenie’s has always hosted alternative forms of the arts, and these live performances should certainly bring out their fans. And Neenie’s is boasting to have the best dance floor in town.
December’s lineup includes Hillbilly Ryezen on Dec. 2 and 3, Night Train on Dec. 9 and 10 and Buckshot on Dec. 16 and 17.
On Friday, Dec. 30, Neenie’s House welcomes the Rex Bongo Band from 7 to 11 p.m.

Along with the live music, there will also be Artisans Alley – a group of vendors showcasing their jewelry, fashion décor, and psychic readings. Food and beverages will be available. There will also be a 50/50 raffle to benefit Our Homeless Community. Oh – and the best part – the concerts are free, and parking across the street is free. So do something new- head over to the East Palm neighborhood, and have yourself a great time.
Neenie’s House is located at 481 Marsh Ave., Fort Myers. For more information, call Janeen Vanko at 224-678-4901. Follow Neenie’s House on Facebook and Instagram.
