It’s another busy month for the Visual Arts Center in Punta Gorda.
A reception for multiple exhibits is planned for June 1 at 5 p.m.
Art With Meaning exhibit features the works of Beverly Yankwitt, Joanna Stramara and Jill Lindsey. That exhibit will hang to June 14.
The Jessica McKnight Photography exhibit runs now to June 14.
The Water Water Everywhere exhibit will be on display now to June 30.

B.A. Wikoff
The Visual Arts Center is having an art sale June 21 – July 17. This isn’t just any art sale; it is a fire sale of all the donated art that has been gifted to them over the year. They are slashing prices on these one-of-a kind pieces to raise money for youth art programs, hurricane repairs, and operational expenses.
Black and White Morality exhibit featuring B.A. Wikoff will be on display in Rebecca Hall June 19 – July 17, and the Summertime exhibit will hang in the main gallery June 26 – July 17. A reception for both exhibits will be held June 29 at 5 p.m.
The Charlotte County Arts Showcase will be held June 22 at 7 p.m. at Gulf Theater at the Military Heritage Museum, 900 W. Marion Ave., Punta Gorda. This will be an evening exploring the beauty and richness of the arts in Charlotte County. Enjoy the opportunity to see a potter’s wheel in action; young people singing and performing; a taste of opera and the glorious sound of an orchestra.
