The third annual Rock the Stage music competition for all ages is back in Southwest Florida and wraps up Dec. 10 with the final competition.
It’s the largest music competition in Southwest Florida and community event and fundraiser, presented by the Lewis P. Tabarrini Children’s Music Outreach Foundation.
Singers, groups, bands, instrumentalists, choirs and more have been auditioning the past few weeks. Live auditions were held every Sunday from Sept. 24 to Oct. 29 for two divisions: Under 18 and 18 and over. At the semifinals on Nov. 19, the competitors were narrowed down to a short list.
Rock the Stage finals will feature performances by the top five from each division. The top five from each age group will compete in the finals on Dec. 10 at Miner’s Plaza (outside Pickle-n-Pub), Fort Myers, with top local and national acts, vendors, food, drinks and more. Available tickets include general admission for $20 (bring your own chairs), and VIP for $50 includes preferred seating, private VIP bar, and use of indoor VIP restrooms.
Music lineup that day also includes Deb & the Dynamics, Bargain Bin Heroes, The 4:20 Brothers, School of Rock House Band, the winners from 2022 Rock the Stage, Shy Blossom and Martini Russa.

Not every kid that wants to play music gets the chance to because of lack of financial resources, or music programs being cut from school curriculums for lack of funding. The Tabarrini Foundation’s goal is to enrich and transform the lives of deserving children in Southwest Florida, by nurturing them in the joy of making music through group guitar lessons.
The Tabarrini Foundation survives solely on donations and fundraisers with no government grants or assistance. Find out more at tabarrinifoundation.org
