On Sunday, July 4, The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center invites you to break out your red, white and blue for an evening of barbecue, libations, live music and entertainment to celebrate America’s birthday. Escape the big crowds and watch the fireworks from above.
The Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center presents Roxx Revolt & The Velvets at Sidney’s Rooftop Sculpture Garden on July 4.
When the Velvets met Roxette “Roxx” Barrios in 2018, the music scene of Southwest Florida was changed forever. This glam-punk band is so much fun and rising fast in the international music industry. With originals such as “King Revolt,” “Delilah” and “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,” this band will pump up the dance floor and “rock your face off.”
Dave’s Bangin Barbecue will be serving ribs, pulled pork, chicken, turkey sliders, brisket sliders, and fresh fruit. The menu also includes side choices of salad with rolls, mac and cheese, coleslaw, and baked beans. Desserts offered are strawberry cupcakes with strawberry butter cream frosting, apple pie cupcakes with vanilla ice cream frosting and a caramel drizzle, Key-lime pie cupcakes, and homemade banana pudding!
The evening promises to be fun for everyone with an exclusive prime 360 degree view of the city and clear view of the downtown Fort Myers fireworks. Limited tickets available. Dress is patriotic casual.
General admission is $99 in advance and $125 day of event. Price includes BBQ buffet from Dave’s Bangin Barbecue, draft beer and wine, live music by Roxx Revolt & The Velvets, beautiful views of the river and fireworks. The event runs 7 to 11 p.m. A VIP package is also available.
