An intelligent and ambitious scientist pursues her passion for astronomy, but is constrained by gender norms of her era, and the pull of family obligations. Lauren Gunderson’s play, written in 2011, is a contemporary take on an overlooked historical figure, Henrietta Leavitt, who solved one of the mysteries of the stars.
Tickets are $15 for the general public and $7 for students and can be purchased at fgcu.edu/theatrelab.
