Sister Act
Based on the hit 1992 film, Sister Act is a divine musical comedy that will have you tapping your feet and laughing in the aisles. The local production is directed by Cathy James. This is Cathy’s second production at CPT. After Sound of Music, she is very excited to take on a new group of nuns.

Into the Woods
Into the Woods intertwines the classic tales of Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel, exploring the consequences of wishes and quests. Into the Woods is directed by David Hernandez. “Directing Into The Woods is an absolute dream. My favorite quote from Stephen Sondheim is ‘All the best performers bring to their role something more, something different than what the author put on pater, that’s what makes theater live, that’s why it persists’,” says Hernandez.

Murder on the Orient Express
Step aboard the luxurious Orient Express for a journey like no other in Agatha Christie’s classic murder mystery. As the train hurtles through Europe, renowned detective Hercule Poirot finds himself entangled in a web of deceit and intrigue when a passenger is found dead. The local production is directed by Debbie Emling.
Debbie, who is also on the theatre’s executive board, said she is very excited to take on this challenge. She said she is thrilled to be directing the intriguing whodunit mystery. “I can not wait for the audience to meet the magnificently unique Agatha Christie characters brought to life by our amazing cast, and embark on a journey into the moral issue if its is ever alright to commit murder…cue the ‘dun dun dun’ sound effect,” adds Debbie.
