Songwriter fest debuts Nov. 1 – 3 in Downtown St. Petersburg

In November, Cox Media Group and BMI will partner to host the first-ever Downtown St. Petersburg Songwriters Festival presented by Funky Buddha Brewery.
The three-day festival will be held Nov. 1 – 3, and will feature some of BMI’s most promising up-and-coming songwriters and hitmakers in intimate live music settings at more than 10 venues throughout Downtown St. Petersburg.
The DTSP Songwriters Festival is largely free to the public to attend, with the exception of a few select shows that will feature headlining artists.
Artists include Warren Brothers, Matisyahu, Aaron Barker, David Fenley, Jann Klose, Jeff Cohen, Jimmy Nash, Maddie Medley, Tim James, Sinclair, Striking Matches, Hank Compton, Liz Cooper, Ella Jet, John Ford Coley, Our Fire, Luke Preston, Lydia Luce, Stela Cole, T Hardy Morris, Marc Scibilia, Joseph Patton, Brian Sutherland, Danielle Blake, Lindsay Rimes, Scott Schmadeke of Harpooner, Nate Allen, Chris Dupre, Deb Ruby, Jordan Boyer, Sonia Leigh, Liam Bauman and Ede Shireen.
Matisyahu will perform Nov. 2 at Jannus Live. Tickets are on sale at ticketmaster.com.
