Alliance for the Arts continues to offer out of the box performances with The Parking Lot. Director Madelaine Weymouth takes theatre goers outdoors, to the parking lot, to watch the most private and intimate exchange in the most public and open venue.
The Parking Lot, starring Rachael Endrizzi and Ken Quiricone, is a new play by Adam Szymkowicz, internationally acclaimed playwright. Szymkowicz is the author of Clown Bar, which recently performed multiple sold out shows at the Alliance. His work balances whimsical conceits with characters who plumb the depths of human emotion.
Bring your chairs and coolers to watch as J and Terry work through answering one of life’s biggest questions: Should they get divorced. The production runs Dec. 8 – 18 and stars Rachael Endrizzi and Ken Quiricone.
Performances are Dec. 8, 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 18 at 3 p.m. Tickets are $25 for members, $30 for non-members and available online at ArtInLee.org. This performance takes place outside in the parking lot. In the event of inclement weather, The Alliance will reach out to you to either refund or reschedule the viewing.
