The Centers for the Arts Bonita Springs will host three exhibits in April.
Romancing the Stone exhibit features more than 80 works by students and faculty of the Centers’ Stone Sculpture Studio. The exhibit runs April 1 – 28.
Also in April, the visual arts center will display various artworks by artist Joan Brechin Sonnenberg. “I believe in the harmonious coexistence of abstraction and realism thereby enhancing and enriching each other. My work embodies realism in abstraction—transcending and encompassing these doctrines,” says Joan Sonnenberg.
Re/Aligned is a new exhibition from the Florida chapter of the National Association
of Women Artists and will be on display April 11 through May 27.
The mission of the National Association of Women Artists, Inc. (NAWA) is to promote awareness of, and interest in, visual art created by women in the United States. The association promotes culture and education in the visual arts, including exhibitions of its members’ works, educational programs, scholarships, awards and historical archive.
The visual arts center is located at 26100 Old 41 Road in Bonita Springs.
