The world famous Treorchy Male Choir from Wales will perform six times as part of their Southwest Florida tour in late March and early April.
The Treorchy Male Choir is delighted to share a special concert series as they celebrate this tour of Southwest Florida. They are delighted to have the opportunity of meeting so many new people during their visit, whether Welsh-born and bred or true American through and through, they can assure you a night to remember as they offer not only a taste of the rich cultural heritage of Wales but also the hand of friendship from across the seas. The choir is united in the common bond of music-making and giving pleasure to others. Their aim is for their concerts to live long in the memory.
From such inauspicious beginnings way back in 1883 in a hometown pub, the Treorchy Male Choir first found its voice and developed into what is probably one of the greatest choral ensembles of all time. Early competition victories were followed by regular radio and television broadcasts, feature films and an unequalled number of commercial recordings.

The choir has given Royal Command performances, appeared alongside international entertainers such as Ella Fitzgerald, Sir Tom Jones, Julie Andrews, Burt Bacharach, Katherine Jenkins, Andrea Bocelli, amongst many others, and undertaken an enviable number of tours around the world, including singing, by the president’s request, at The White House.
The Southwest Florida tour schedules includes six performances and they are March 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Opera Naples, 2408 Linwood Ave.; March 28 at 3 p.m. at The Norris Center, 755 8th St., Naples; March 29 at 6:30 p.m. at Unity of Naples, 200 Unity Way; March 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Sidney & Bene Davis Art Center in downtown Fort Myers; March 31 at 7 p.m. at Naples Bay Resort, 1500 5th Ave. S.; and April 1 at 7 p.m. at St. Boniface Episcopal Church in Sarasota.
