On Friday, Nov. 22, the Edison and Ford Winter Estates will host Peace of Woodstock, a Woodstock tribute band. The event celebrates Woodstock’s 50th anniversary and will take place on the Ford lawn, along the Caloosahatchee River. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., and the concert starts at 6 p.m.
The group pays tribute to the famous three-day festival that was held in upstate New York in 1969. Guests are invited to wear tie-dyed shirts, bell-bottom jeans or other attire from the 1960s.
The setting offers a beautiful river view and a chance to see a spectacular sunset. Guests should bring a folding chair. There will be a cash bar and refreshments available for purchase. No coolers are permitted. Free parking is available in the main Edison Ford parking lot.
Tickets may be purchased online for $25 or $20 for Edison Ford members. Tickets at the door will be $30. For more information or to purchase tickets online, visit EdisonFord.org or call 239-334-7419.
