Zydegatorz concert at Neenie’s House Jan. 22

Neenie’s House will host its first big live band performance in January.
On Jan. 22 from 6 to 9 p.m., The Zydegators will be rockin’ the outdoor Peace Plaza at Neenie’s House in Fort Myers.
“They are the abfab local favorites. If you aren’t familiar, Zydeco music is soulful cajun roots dancing music. These six guys play the hell out of it. We’ll be having raffles & games with the proceeds going to our local homeless community,” says owner Janeen Vanko.
Zydegatorz is Southwest Florida’s all star Zydeco band. What do you get when you gather together six talented musicians and entertainers in SW Florida and add a little cajun spice … Zydegators.
Members of Zydegatorz are Brandon Jackson on bass and vocals, Jimmie Scott on guitar and vocals, Charlie Kuchler on accordion and vocals, Rick Rourke on sax, harmonica and vocals, Jules Blondin on percussion and Andrei Koribantics on drums.
Neenie’s House is very involved in the community. Weekly she delivers clothes and other necessities directly to the those with immediate needs. Neenie’s always accepts donations. Just let Vanko know if you’re cleaning out your clothes closet.
“So come on out to East Palm and support your local musicians and shopkeepers. We’re doing it for you- so come on out,” adds Vanko.
